Marjorie E. Holcomb, 93, of Sheridan died Monday, June 25, 2001, in Westview Health Care Center. Viewing is until 5 p.m. today at Champion Ferries Funeral Home. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Friday in the Chapel of St. Peters Episcopal Church with the Rev. Ray Clark officiating. Mrs. Holcomb was born Feb. 4, 1908, in Lewiston, Mont., to Noble and Jennie (Harwood) Walker. She grew up in Lewiston and graduated from high school there. She graduated from the University of Montana-Missoula, in June 1930 with a degree in education, and taught school until she married Donald Holcomb Sept. 9, 1933. They lived in Sheridan. Mr. Holcomb died in 1961, and she moved to Cheyenne, then to Denver until she returned to Sheridan in 1995. She was a member of St. Peters Episcopal Church, Altar Guild, Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, PEO Chapter B and Kappa Kappa Gamma. She enjoyed reading, card games and traveling. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Kent; a sister, Judith Walker; a brother, Bert Walker; and a granddaughter. Survivors include a daughter, Janet Lee Carroll of Gunnison, Colo.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Raymond R. Roop, 70, of Sheridan died Sunday, June 24, 2001, at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County. Cremation has taken place, and interment will be in the Fort Richardson (Alaska) National Cemetery. Kane Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Mr. Roop was born Sept. 30, 1930, in Adrian, Mich., to Melford T. and Thelma (Platt) Roop. He graduated from high school and entered the U.S. Air Force in November 1950 and later served in Vietnam. He retired from the Air Force with the rank of staff sergeant in December 1970, then worked for the U.S. Postal Service for more than 20 years. He met and married Opal (Galyen) Mills Sept. 1, 1987, in Anchorage, Alaska. He liked to read and watch television and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Elks Lodge and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jean (Roop) Webster. Survivors include his wife of Sheridan; three children, Barbara Roop, Donna Sanden and Jerry Roop; five stepchildren, Gary Mills, Melvin Mills, Jeannie Mills, Lynden Mills and Richard Mills; two grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren. Daniel Willis Wright, 81, of Sheridan died Thursday, June 14, 2001, at Sheridan VA Medical Center after a long illness. Cremation has taken place, and memorial services were June 19 at Oregon Trail Cemetery Chapel in Casper. Kane Funeral Home handled arrangements. Mr. Wright was born Sept. 11, 1919, in Naper, Neb., to Richard John and Betty (Prokesh) Wright. He served in the Army until 1943, when he was honorably discharged. He moved to Wyoming and married Christine Gallegos in Cheyenne in 1946. They moved to Casper and later divorced. He lived in Sheridan VAMC the last few years. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mavis Goodrich; a brother, Michael; and a half sister, Fay Winget. Survivors include a sister, Marjorie Schrantz of Casper; and three brothers, Peter of Casper, Charles of Pleasanton, Calif., and Tom of Corvallis, Ore.
BUFFALO Eugene Charles Claar, 71, died Feb. 9, 2001, at his home in Gretna, La. A graveside memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo. Friends and family are invited to a picnic lunch in the Buffalo City Park following the service.
Edna M. Dexter, 92, of Sheridan died Saturday, June 23, 2001, in Sheridan Manor. Viewing is until 5 p.m. today at Champion Ferries Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Champion Ferries Funeral Home with the Rev. Douglas Goodwin officiating. Interment will be in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. Mrs. Dexter was born Oct. 26, 1908, in Hulett to Edward and Dell (Grenier) Pollock. She married W.C. Bill Dexter in 1927. They lived in the Moorcroft area for several years. They moved to Clearmont in 1940. She worked at the school lunch room and as a waitress and helped with ranch work. She enjoyed cooking and gardening, and she canned jars of food every summer. They retired in 1978. She moved to Sheridan in 1983. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1981 and by two sons, Donald and Paul, and six brothers and sisters. Survivors include a son, Charles of Sheridan; a daughter, Louise Hopes of Bakersfield, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the donors choice.
Faires Arnold Barnett, 81, of Sheridan died Thursday, June 21, 2001, of heart-surgery complications at Deaconess Medical Center in Billings. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Kane Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Clark and Deacon Joe Kristufek officiating. Mr. Barnett was born March 25, 1920, at the Connable Ranch in Hotchkiss, Colo., to Lucille Arnold and Faires F.C. Barnett. He married Ann Bailey Dec. 23, 1948, in Grand Junction, Colo. They moved in 1953 to Sheridan, where he worked as ranch manager of the Padlock Ranch 14 years. He and Emerson Scott Sr. purchased the Northern Seed Co. in 1967. He was a longtime member of Wyoming Stock Growers Association and a life member of Sheridan Elks Lodge 520. He served on the Sheridan County Planning Commission, the Wyoming State 4-H Foundation Board, as president of Wyoming Grain Dealers Association and was founding board member of Sheridan First Wyoming Bank-Key Bank. He enjoyed ranching, hunting and fishing. He had a private pilots license. He was preceded in death by one brother, Gurden Howard Barnett. Survivors include two sons, Alan of Meeteetse and Gurden of Vancouver, Wash.; a daughter, Fairan Barnett Cady of Sheridan; a brother, Joe of Denver; and three grandchildren. BUFFALO Pearl Theda Raitt, 99, of Kaycee died Friday, June 22, 2001, at United Medical Center in Cheyenne. She was mother of Jean Price of Sheridan. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo with the Rev. Dana Lohse officiating. Visitation is 1-10 p.m. today and 8-9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Willow Grove Cemetery following services. Mrs. Raitt was born May 25, 1902, to John and Lilly Morgareidge at the fort west of Buffalo, where the Veterans Home is now. She grew up in the Kaycee and Sussex areas. She married George Raitt June 23, 1923, in Buffalo. They made their home on the Eychaner Ranch east of Kaycee. In 1926 they bought the upper half of the ranch. Mr. Raitt died in 1967. Mrs. Raitt lived on the ranch until 1975, when she moved into Kaycee. She moved to Cheyenne in October to live with a daughter. She was a member of Powder River Grange and the last remaining charter member of Sussex Womens Club. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Mae Weldon, two sisters and two grandchildren. Survivors include three other daughters, Roberta Metcalf of Casper, Pat Francisco of Cheyenne and Georgene Triplet of Yakima, Wash.; a brother, Norval Morgareidge of St. Helens, Ore.; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Harriet Louise Spracklen Gillespie, 89, of Sheridan died Wednesday, June 20, 2001, in Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County. Memorial services will be Monday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Joseph Keys officiating. Interment of cremains will be in the Masonic 8 section of Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home. Mrs. Gillespie was born Aug. 8, 1911, in Sheridan to Clement L. (Clem) and Nellie Edith (Welch) Spracklen. She attended Linden and Taylor schools and spent several summers working on the ranch her father homesteaded in Gopher, Mont. She graduated from Sheridan High School in 1928. She went to work for Laurence Gillespie at the Mills-Jackson Co., and they married Christmas Day, 1931, in Billings. They bought out the owners by 1935 and renamed the business Sheridan Stationery. The business moved to its present location at 206 N. Main St. when the Gillespies bought that building in 1957. She sold the business in 1975 and retired in 1979. She was a member of First United Methodist Church since 1924, and also belonged to American Legion Auxiliary, Daughters of the Nile and Friends of the Library. She was an avid reader, loved to travel, did embroidery and spent as much time as possible during summers at the family cabin on North Piney in Story, which she and Mr. Gillespie built in 1955. She was preceded in death by her husband; five sisters, Mabel Simmerman, Bess Bessey, Bertha Wolff, Myrtle Lind and Geraldine Danner; and a brother, Len Spracklen. Survivors include two sons, John Gillespie of Chester Springs, Pa., and Jim Gillespie of Sheridan and St. Louis; and two grandchildren. Memorials may benefit the Kalif Shrine Crippled Children Travel Fund, Box K, Sheridan, or First United Methodist Church.
Cecil N. Lupton, 82, of Sheridan died Wednesday, June 20, 2001, at Sheridan VA Medical Center. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Big Horn Avenue Church of Christ with Charlie Spray officiating. Visitation was Thursday at Kane Funeral Home. Mr. Lupton was born June 6, 1919, to Frank and Alice (Van Gordor) Lupton at the family home on Ash Creek. He graduated from Sheridan High School. He was a naval hospital corpsman during World War II. He married Dora De Lapp June 18, 1947, at the ranch home of Roy and Eunice Williams in Sheridan County. He was a former employee of Sheridan VAMC. He spent many years on Tongue River school boards. He enjoyed fishing, working with cattle and horses, gardening, reading, puzzles, cardplaying, recycling aluminum cans and cutting firewood. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Farm Bureau. He was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters and two sons, Rex and Marvin. Survivors include his wife of Sheridan; four children, Jaci Austin of Ranchester, Jean Ostermyer of Banner, Ray Lupton of Sheridan and Ed Lupton of Laramie; a sister, Oriel States of Sheridan; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. BUFFALO Former Sheridan resident Bernice Alma Lindy Baker, 88, of Buffalo died Thursday, June 21, 2001, at Amie Holt Care Center. Private family services will be in Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Baker worked at the Sheridan VA Medical Center as a nurse from 1943-45. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn, in 1984; and by one brother and one sister. Survivors include a son, John of Buffalo; a daughter, Gwen Hendricks of Glendo; two sisters, Ruth Tarvin and Alma Fitzgibbon, both of Sioux City, Iowa; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren. Gordon Wayne Rosenberger, 73, of Onalaska, Wash., died Monday, June 18, 2001, of a heart attack. He was father of Carol LoGuidice of Big Horn. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Newell-Hoerlings Mortuary Chapel in Centralia, Wash. Mr. Rosenberger was born Dec. 6, 1927, in Buffalo to Revilo and Ena Rosenberger and grew up on a ranch in Barnum. He was a graduate of Johnson County High School. He married Mary Skurok; they later divorced. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked on the Alaska pipeline in the 1970s. He was preceded in death by a brother and sister. Other survivors include a sister, Vada Wolski of Torrington; a special friend, Brigitte Dowles of Olympia, Wash.; two grandchildren; and a step-granddaughter.
Surviving relatives that were not included in the Thursday obituary of Mr. Redinger were his parents, Grave and Paul Redinger of Whitewood, S.D., and two grandmothers, Ella Massie and Evelyn Redinger, both of Spearfish, S.D. Clarence L. Roush, 81, of Sheridan died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, in Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County. Private family services will be held. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home. Mr. Roush was born Dec. 17, 1919, in Sheridan to P.T. and Margaret (Hustiwaite) Roush. The family moved to Eugene, Ore., when he was a boy, and he attended school there. The family moved to Great Falls, Mont., before returning to Sheridan, where he graduated from high school. He played high school football and participated in track and Golden Gloves boxing. He married Cora Mattox in Sheridan in 1942. They divorced. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1943 and was in submarine service during World War II. He married Erlene Slater in Sheridan in 1956. He was co-owner of Roush Plumbing and Heating until 1976, when he became plumbing inspector for the city of Sheridan. He retired in 1990. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the American Legion and Kalif Shrine and directed the Oriental Band for 27 years. He was a 50-year member of Eagles 186 and Masonic Lodge 8 and was a life member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Glen and Ralph, and by his sister, Louise. Survivors include his wife of Sheridan; a son, Tom of Big Horn; six daughters, Julia Ann Nyholm and Billie Jean Norberg, both of Centralia, Wash., Diana Lynn Jackson and Vicki Lou Rigdon, both of Longview, Wash., Debra Rice of Sheridan and Chrissy Fann of Lander; a brother, Robert of Sheridan; 17 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Wade A. Redinger, 35, of Sheridan died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, of natural causes in the emergency room of Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County. Viewing and visitation begin 6 p.m. today at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church. Funeral services will 2 p.m. Friday at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church with Rick Beld and Daryl Redinger officiating. Mr. Redinger was born Oct. 19, 1965, in Vancouver, Wash., to Paul and Grace (Massie) Redinger. The family moved to South Dakota, where he graduated from Spearfish High School in 1984. He moved to Colorado Springs, Colo., where he worked construction and as a mechanic. He married Colette Coughlin June 20, 1987, in Spearfish. They lived in Colorado Springs until May 1988, when they moved to Sheridan. He worked as an auto service technician for Valley Motor Honda. He was a member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church. He loved playing ball, camping, fishing and being outdoors with his children. He enjoyed woodworking and was a cabinetmaker. Survivors include his wife; sons Austen, Tyler and Spencer and daughters Alishia and Brooke, all of Sheridan; two brothers, Steve of Sheridan and Randy of Whitewood, S.D.; and five sisters, Ann Hendrickson of Sheridan, Wendi Simonson of Duluth, Minn., and Dawna Redinger, Cindy Charlson and Amy Uskoski, all of Battle Ground, Wash. Danny Gordon Blackley, 49, died Saturday, June 16, 2001, at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County. Visitation is 7-9 p.m. today at Kane Funeral Home. Survivors include his parents of Sheridan; a son, Nathan of Eugene, Ore.; a sister, Zella Short of Blackhawk, S.D.; and a brother, Mark of Fort Davis, Texas. Sheridan native John Sundquist, 68, of Great Falls, Mont., died Thursday, June 7, 2001, at his home. Cremation has taken place, and private family services will be at a later date. OConnor Funeral Home handled arrangements. Mr. Sundquist was born Dec. 25, 1932, in Sheridan. He grew up here and was a 1950 graduate of Sheridan High School. He served in the Navy from 1951-56 in San Diego and later as a cryptographer on the admirals staff at Pearl Harbor for three years. He married Shirley Peterson June 12, 1952, in Sheridan. They moved to Great Falls in 1960. He held an accounting degree from the University of Wyoming and was grain accountant for General Mills until he retired in 1993. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Patricia Obrecht of Great Falls; three sons, Gary and Terry, both of Great Falls, and Timothy of Eagle, Idaho; a sister, Anna Kelly of Sheridan; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Helen C. GG Marshall, 88, of Sheridan died Monday, June 18, 2001, in Sheridan Manor. Cremation has taken place. William Chester Johnson, 87, the father of former Sheridan resident Leora Lantz, died May 27, 2001, at his home near Littlefield, Texas. Mr. Johnson was born near Sunset, Texas, July 18, 1913, to Edward and Zonie Johnson. He worked in the oil fields of Texas and moved to Newcastle in 1947 with Galloway & Smith. He married his wife, Cora, July 12, 1947, and they bought a place in Red Bird Canyon. Survivors include his wife of Littlefield; a son, Jim Trenary, of Rapid City; a daughter, Leora Lantz of Moreno Valley, Calif.; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Venus Raue, of Shallowater. He was preceded in death by two grandsons.

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. Former Sheridan resident Gladys L. Tracy, 68, of Lacey, Wash., died Thursday, May 17, 2001, in a car accident in Scottsbluff. Cremation has taken place at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff. A celebration of her life will be June 30 at Mountain Greens Community Hall in Lacey. Mrs. Tracy was born Dec. 21, 1932, in Mitchell, Neb., to Perley and Elenor (Phillips) Weston. She married Lester Otto Tracy Oct. 4, 1957. She lived in Sheridan for 24 years. She moved to Lacey in 1998. She was proceeded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Terry; and a great-granddaughter. Survivors include two sons, Stanley of Sheridan and Kenneth of Rainier, Wash.; a stepson, Gary of Colorado; two daughters, Belinda Elkins of Sutherin, Ore., and Bobbi Teall of Olympia, Wash.; two stepdaughters, Carolyn Clabough of Colorado and Linda Paull of Montrose, Colo.; three brothers, Gene Weston of Fairplay, Mo., Gary Weston of Harlingen, Texas, and Kenneth Weston of Bend, Ore.; a sister, Betty Nichols of Marshfield, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Allen was born Nov. 26, 1910, near Hulett to Robert and Erma
Tate. The family moved to Sheridan County when she was 15. They
settled near Ranchester. She rode race horses for some of the
prominent horse breeders in the Big Horn area during her high
school years and became a trick rider. She was a graduate of
Sheridan High School and took a year of normal training to become
a teacher. She taught in a one-room country school near Beckton
for five years. She married Howard Allen in 1935 in Sheridan. He
worked at saddle shops and she made shirts and leather apparel,
including the leather outfits worn by Sheridan rodeo queens. The
family later moved to Otter Creek, Mont., and bought 12 acres
near Ashland. They returned to Sheridan in 1983. Mr. Allen died
in 1996, and she moved to Custer, Mont., then to Hardin. In
addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter,
Erma, and a sister, Naomi Penton. Survivors include a son, Harry;
a brother, Bob; and four grandchildren. Memorials may be made to

Pauline E. Dryden, 92, of Sheridan died Saturday, June 9, 2001, in Ranchester. Viewing is until 5 p.m. today at Champion Ferries Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery, Masonic 8 Section, with the Rev. Douglas Goodwin officiating. Mrs. Dryden was born July 6, 1908, in Illinois to Henry and Bessie (Hanna) Roe. The family moved to Billings when she was 10, and later moved to Sheridan. She graduated from Sheridan High School. She married Percy Dryden June 2, 1926, in Sheridan. She played piano in small bands in Sheridan for many years and played the organ for weddings, funerals and at First Christian Church, where she was a member. She was a member of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1974 and by a son, Bobby Gene; two sisters, Ernestine Lowther and Lola Smith; and a stepsister, Viola Soloman. Survivors include her companion, Rudy Schilling of Ranchester; a son, Gerald Dryden; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to benefit First Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Winnie and Florence; four brothers, George, Jim, Dutch and Bill; and her husband. BROADUS, Mont. John Victor Vic Lloyd, 94, died Monday, June 4, 2001, at the Powder River Manor in Broadus. Visitation will be Friday in the chapel of Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Broadus. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Powder River Congregational Church in Broadus. Interment will be 4 p.m. in the family lot in the Custer County Cemetery in Miles City. Mr. Lloyd was born Oct. 1, 1906, in Beaver, Okla., to Charles A. and Anna V. (Childers) Lloyd. The family moved to the Rosebud area in Montana when he was in high school. He married Evelyn Dorothy Williams in 1931. They ranched on Moon Creek and he worked for Lockie Livestock. They later separated. Mr. Lloyd moved to Miles City in 1949. In 1985 he moved to Broadus. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Mike, Lee, Joe and Ward; and two sisters, Bertha and Frieda. Survivors include two sons, Gib of Broadus and Gary of Sheridan; a daughter, Betty Kiser of Newell, S.D.; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Roger E. Todd, 84, of Sheridan died Saturday, June 2, 2001, in the Sheridan VA Medical Center. Visitation is 6-7 p.m. today at Champion Ferries Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Champion Ferries Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Elks Cemetery. Mr. Todd was born Jan. 16, 1917, in Sheridan to Fred and Gladys (Wilcox) Todd. He grew up on Lower Piney Creek ranch near Ucross, attending grade school in Clearmont and graduating from Sheridan High School. He joined the Army Air Corps after graduation. He married Margueritte A. Kagie Dec. 5, 1942. They moved to Arizona, where he worked two years as a railroad conductor, and later moved to Lower Piney Creek and Clear Creek. They moved to Big Horn in 1984. Mr. Todd served on the board of directors of the Sheridan-Johnson Rural Electric Association and was a life member of Sheridan Elks Lodge 520. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1992 and by two brothers, George and Luther. Survivors include four sons, Richard of Mountain Home, Ariz., David of Buffalo and Steven and Edgar, both of Sheridan; two daughters, Linda Mentock of Raytown, Mo., and Virginia Ewalt of British Columbia, Canada; two sisters, Edna Fay of Sheridan and Sadie Dexter of Cheyenne; two brothers, the Rev. Eugene Todd of Cheyenne and Lewis Todd of Tucson, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. Bosley died Sunday, June 3, 2001, in Sheridan VA Medical Center. He was born Aug. 27, 1919, in Sheridan to Alvin and Elizabeth (Roberts) Bosley. He attended Sheridan schools and played football. He left school in the 11th grade to work at Bondi Brothers grocery store to help his brother through school. He enlisted in the Navy the day after Pearl Harbor and served on the USS American Legion Troop Transport until his discharge in 1945. He married Harriett Winkler Oct. 22, 1946, in Sheridan. He worked for the CB&Q Railroad as brakeman and conductor until 1967, when he retired. He worked part time for Top Typewriter and volunteered many hours for a golf tournament to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Society. He received many awards for his volunteer services. He was a member of American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars and a retired member of United Transportation Union. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Frank, Roy and Clifford, and by two sisters, Nora Vielhauer and Claudine Hoiten. She returned to Sheridan and married Louis Plachek July 1, 1950, in Sheridan. She was a nurse at Memorial Hospital 35 years and at the Sheridan VA Medical Center 10 years until she retired. She was a member of St. Peters Episcopal Church, Diamond Rebekah Lodge and Daughters of the Nile. She was past Worthy Matron of Friendship Chapter 51 of Eastern Star. She was past treasurer and secretary of the Wyoming State Licensed Practical Nurses Association. She enjoyed raising orchids, gardening, playing cards crocheting, dancing and old movies. She was preceded in death by her husband and by a sister, Edna Morris. Survivors include a son, Gary, of Sheridan; a brother, Glenn Heaton of Sheridan; a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren. She was born July 1, 1917, to Mary (Koscielniok) and Mike Patz in Monarch. She married Mick Petrovich. They divorced. She married George Smith. They ranched near Piney Creek until his death, when she moved into Sheridan. She was a seamstress and worked for the Sheridan Singer store for many years. A member of Holy Name Catholic Church, she was also active in Order of St. Luke, Secular Order of St. Franciscan, the Contemplative Prayer Group, Womens Bible Study and the Rosary Group. She enjoyed working as a volunteer in the Holy Name Thrift Shop. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Patz, and a sister, Sophia Bearrows. Survivors include two children, Robb Smith of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Stasia Sayer of Sheridan; one brother, Frank Patz of Sheridan; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
