Elke Govertsen is the Founder and Editor of Mamalode. She has been featured in Real Simple, Where Women Create, 406 Woman, Ad Tech, and Entrepreneur. She speaks on a variety of topics, from social media to overcoming poverty. She also leads the Learn As You Go lecture series for small businesses and is passionate about economic development in Montana. Her special skills include extreme bootstrapping, overcoming obstacles and creating opportunities. Of the many things she has learned by doing Mamalode￼ is her ability to work with absolute chaos/kids/mess just might be the best.
Stephanie Armstrong is the the founder of Heart of Leadership, a San Diego-based movement to support young women in leadership through personal development, holistic wellness, community service, and sisterhood. Stephanie has spoken to more than 80,000 middle and high school students, parents, school administrators, counselors, and therapists in the U.S., Canada and Asia on body image, self-esteem, media literacy and making a difference.
Her keynote address, “It’s Up to Us,” will focus on the power of girls and women working together to support one another. When we choose collaboration over competition, a whole new power and future is available to all of us.
