The FAB Woman of the Year award is presented annually at the FAB conference to celebrate female leaders who have made an outstanding difference in the community. Nominees are evaluated by the FAB planning committee based on leadership, volunteer work and overall efforts to improve the Sheridan County community.

Past nominees have included teachers, mentors, administrators, volunteers and caregivers. Requirements for the award are intentionally left broad, because we know women contribute to our community in a variety of ways.

Nominees should exemplify strength and determination, adaptability and humanity, vision, leadership and integrity. If you know a woman like that from Sheridan County, take time to nominate her for this year’s award.

Nominations are due by Feb. 22, and the 2019 Woman of the Year will be announced during the FAB Women’s Conference luncheon on April 12.
