Snow accumulations up to 11 inches in Big Horn, Story and Burgess Junction and up to 5 inches in Dayton wreaked havoc on the county Tuesday morning, with power outages and down branches causing business closures and delays.

Sheridan County School District 2 went through its school day with full power, while Sheridan County School District 3 sent students home at 1 p.m., and Holy Name Catholic School canceled school shortly after students arrived to campus.

Kendrick Park closed to the public due to down tree branches, and Interstate 90 between Sheridan and Buffalo closed mid-morning.
