At our recent county elections, we chose new leadership, state party appointments and updated strategic priorities. We welcomed our new leaders and are grateful for retiring leaders who have done so much to grow a responsible two-party system that is absolutely critical in our county and state today.
We brought voters together to reflect on both successes and challenges, such as the chaotic legislative session and inroads a moderate Wyoming Democratic party have made with voters seeking a return to common-sense governance.
When reflecting on the recent Wyoming legislative session we see growing voter frustration with loss of rights and freedoms in Wyoming, intrusion into private lives and business decision-making, so unlike how our elected leaders have governed historically — all to the detriment of our state and our people. Sheridan Democrats offer a positive alternative.
Sheridan Democrats welcome folks who want to work for a better community. You can join our regular meetings, events and service activities. In visiting with voters of all stripes, I have found so many mutual concerns and similar values. You don’t have to sign a pact, just bring energy and a desire to keep Wyoming a place that we love and call home. For more information email us at sheridandems@gmail.com
