Marly Graham is an intern with The Sheridan Press.

Several small acreage plots dot the landscape of Wyoming. Those owning a smaller piece of land to house horses, many questions — such as property upkeep for livestock — result. To answer those questions, Alayne Blicke is hosting a workshop in the Watt Building at the Watt Building Sheridan Research and Extension Center at Sheridan College from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

On August 25, 2022, Megan Stevens officially took ownership of Andi’s Coffee and Bakery. Stevens was driven to purchase the shop due to her growing love for getting to know customers and being a part of the Sheridan community.

Under the blinding stage lights at the WYO Performing Arts and Education Center, Anna Mullinax waited to hear the result for the Miss Wyoming’s Outstanding Teen title along with several other competitors. Leading up to this point, she and the other contestants shared talents, fitness, interview skills, and answered impromptu questions on stage. 

From the possibility of heat stroke and inclement weather to the significant fire risk, the later summer months bring certain risks for those living in the Rocky Mountain West. Luckily, experts offer a wide range of guidance to encourage everyone to enjoy the end of the season.
